Dr. Ben Hopkins joins the lab
Ben graduated from the lab of Stuart Wigby at Oxford University where he studied reproductive traits and their evolution in Drosophila. He’s come to Davis to continue his research into the evolution of novel traits in Drosophila male reproduction. Welcome Ben!
Ammon receives an NIH NRSA grant!
Ammon knocked it out of the park with his NIH postdoctoral grant. We are pleased to report that Dr. Thompson is now the recipient of three years of independent NIH funding for his work on transcriptome analysis and evolution. Way to go, Ammon!
